Nicola Oldenhof is a Southland-based artist and award-winning tattoo artist, beginning in the tattoo industry in 2009. She now works from her studio, Alleycat Tattoo, where she continues to refine her craft and explore new forms of expression through oil painting, watercolour, pen and ink, life drawing, photography, and more.
With a deep respect for the natural world, Nicola’s work often weaves together themes of beauty, wilderness, and the human connection to both. Her creative life is grounded by time spent with horses, caring for animals, and planting trees on a small rural property.
